From a PC/Linux/Mac With a Full Featured Client
Older versions of Windows contained a program that you could use called Hyperterminal. Modern versions unfortunately do not contain a built-in ANSI terminal.
There are a few options out there:
http://qodem.sourceforge.net/ which is an open-source reimplementation of Qmodem Pro.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/syncterm/ which is a terminal program that supports many different terminal emulators.
